Enemy Hunter
- Welcome to Enemy Hunter — a small retro-inspired 2D platformer built in Godot.
You play as a courageous knight navigating a single (or multiple) short levels packed with moving platforms, coins, and patrolling green enemies. The core loop is easy to learn but satisfying to master:
- Move across platforms and time your jumps
- Jump on enemies twice to defeat them
- Collect coins scattered around the level to increase your score
- Avoid damage zones (hurt) and kill zones (instant death)
- Reach the dimensional portal (level end) to advance or open the level selector
The game features fluid player animations (run, jump, attack, defend, hit, death), simple enemy AI that patrols with raycasts, and small touches like a pause HUD and level selector. Enemy Hunter is designed for short play sessions and pairs retro pixel art with responsive platforming controls — perfect for arcade-style runs and score chasing.
